It’s a small line item on the order, but the explanation of what it covers is clearer than most fees I’ve seen. Knowing it goes toward environmental handling and compliance costs makes it easier to accept.

Seeing this broken out as its own line on the invoice was actually a relief, since it means the handling and compliance side is covered instead of buried in the item price. No surprises at checkout, and the total matched what I expected.

I wasn't thrilled to see an extra fee at checkout, but at least it's clearly broken out here so I know exactly what I'm paying for environmental compliance. Keeps things transparent.
